Purpose
The objective of the BLAST program is to examine the morphodynamics of sedimentary environments such as beach-dune systems & prairie dunefields in response to variability in local wind characteristics and terrain, variations in surface roughness (e.g., driftwood, vegetation, forest cover) and sediment supply conditions, changing land use impacts, and potential climate change effects.
