Full-time Teaching Stream Position in the City Studies Program

The Department of Social Sciences at the University of Toronto-Scarborough, invites applications for a full-time teaching stream position in the City Studies Program.

The position will be at the rank of Lecturer and will commence July 1, 2010.

City Studies is situated in the Department of Social Sciences and the successful candidate will have demonstrated excellence in teaching and in developing pedagogic approaches, drawing on different disciplines that examine urban issues. She/he will be expected to teach one or more foundation courses in City Studies that draw together theories and methods from different fields of urban knowledge, to develop senior undergraduate courses relating to his or her area of expertise, and to maintain and expand existing community service learning and co-op initiatives in the program. Additional duties may include student advising and administrative responsibilities.

Tier II Canada Research Chair in Climate and Environmental Change.

The Department of Environmental Studies and Geography at Bishop’s University in Sherbrooke, Quebec, invites applications for a Tier II Canada Research Chair (CRC) in the field of Climate and Environmental Change.

Applicants for this position should possess a strong research profile with the potential to emerge as an internationally recognized scholar, and a demonstrated ability to obtain external funding in a field directly related to Climate and/or Environmental Change, with an emphasis on physical processes. The appointment will be made in the Department of Environmental Studies and Geography. Cross-appointments to the new Environmental Sciences program may be possible. The appointee may be expected to contribute to the design and development of an interdisciplinary graduate program in Environmental Studies or Sciences.

We encourage applications from scientists with a background in physical geography, earth sciences, environmental studies/sciences, atmospheric sciences, or related fields, who can propose innovative research topics or approaches that, ideally, correspond to the national and provincial research priorities in this field. The successful candidate’s expertise should complement existing research strengths within the Multi-scale Climate and Environmental Change research cluster (MUSCLE) and will demonstrate the potential to generate and lead large-scale projects that span interdisciplinary lines. Ability to seek funding with agencies such as NSERC, FQRNT or CFCAS is an asset. The successful candidate will have a reduced teaching load of one 3-hour course per semester.

Normally, the Tier II CRC competition is open to candidates who are within a maximum of ten years from their terminal degree at the time of nomination.

Full-Time Tenure Track Position at the Assistant Professor in Cold Regions Hydrology

Senior Instructor in Geography

The Department of Geography, University of Victoria, invites applications for a full-time Senior Instructor position. The appointment may begin as early as May 1, 2010

Primary responsibility includes teaching the Geography of Canada, and the Geography of British Columbia. Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in coastal studies and having the ability to bridge the physical and human sides of Geography. Ability to develop and teach field courses is also an asset. The normal teaching load is 8 courses per year.

The initial term of the appointment is three years. For reappointment, a Senior Instructor must meet the performance standard specified in the Faculty Framework Agreement. There is a normal expectation of a subsequent 4 year term. At the time of the second reappointment and normally in the seventh year of service the incumbent must be considered for a continuing appointment.

The successful applicant should have a PhD (or close to completion) in Geography. Exceptional applicants with a Master’s degree may also be considered. He or she will have experience teaching undergraduate courses, an outstanding or promising teaching record, and demonstrate a firm commitment to teaching.

Tenure-track Assistant Professor in Sustainable Resource Management

Sustainable Resource Management: A specialty in one of forestry, mining, energy, and terrestrial environments is desirable. A demonstrated teaching interest in sustainability is required. Course responsibilities will include areas such as Environmental Planning, GIS, Remote Sensing, and a number of Special Topics courses. A Ph.D. or nearly completed Ph.D. in resource management or a cognate discipline is required. Linkage of research interests to local and global issues relevant to climate change would be an asset. Tenure-Track Assistant Professor in Climatology

An Instructor is required to teach in the School of Renewable Resources Advanced Diploma in Geographic Information Systems program. Subject areas include: Oracle Databases and SQL, Remote Sensing 1 and 2, with the potential for some Remote Sensing Research work through the Selkirk Geospatial Research Centre (SGRC) depending on the successful applicant’s background and experience.

A Master’s Degree in GIS or a related field is preferred, however a Bachelor degree in GIS or a related field and relevant work related experience will be considered. Candidates must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and experience working successfully in teams, preference will be given to applicants with previous teaching experience to a variety of GIS skill levels, and experience with the associated software and hardware. The School of Environment and Sustainability at the University of Saskatchewan invites applications for a Tier 2 Canada Research Chair (CRC) in Environmental or Sustainability Science. The school conducts interdisciplinary research and focuses on graduate student education. Our vision is to create and integrate multiple understandings of natural and human environments, and to be internationally known for innovative, provocative and wide-ranging approaches to environmental sustainability.

Allocated to support the new School of Environment and Sustainability, the CRC in Environmental or Sustainability Science will provide leadership to the school by developing a prominent and rigorous research and graduate student training programme that addresses some major element(s) of environmental and/or sustainability science. Examples of strategic science issues for which the school wishes to be known include, but are not limited to: climate change, water security, alternative energy, and ecosystems science, including biodiversity. The CRC will also play an important role in shaping the directions and initiatives of the new school, and will ideally connect their research in an interdisciplinary fashion with that of other scholars within and beyond the school.

Algoma University invites applications for the position of ESRI Canada Health Informatics (HI) Research Chair. The successful candidate would have 7-10 years of research experience post-Ph.D and direct experience working with primary healthcare professionals. The appointee will be tenure-track with flexibility on the academic department of appointment. Possible departments of appointment include Computer Science, Biology, Geography and/or Psychology. The Chair will work in consultation with the HI Institute’s Board of Directors. The Department of Earth Sciences currently offers courses for the Bachelor of Science Degree Program. The department is seeking new faculty with a main focus on the skills and abilities to teach introductory and senior courses in GIS and Remote Sensing. The position will target individuals that also can teach in fields of physical geography such as Soil Geography, Biogeography and Geomorphology. Other areas of physical geography specializations will be considered. This position also requires that the applicant be able to teach introductory courses in the General Education Program, Cluster 1: Numeracy and Scientific Literacy.

New faculty is hired into one of two work patterns. The teaching/scholarship/service pattern has a focus on teaching with the requirement that the faculty member be involved in a research program as well as service to the Mount Royal community. The teaching/service pattern has a focus on teaching and service only. There is an option to change work patterns after tenure.

The successful applicant must be qualified to teach introductory general education courses but will focus on senior courses in GIS and remote sensing and hiring will target individuals with the skills to create curriculum around these sub-disciplines at second, third and fourth year course levels.

A Ph. D. in geography or the appropriate area is required. We seek a scholar eager to work collaboratively with a productive group of transportation researchers at Concordia as well as at the three other Montreal universities. The individual should have skills in quantitative and qualitative analyses that could include travel demand modeling or spatial analysis using GIS, social and institutional influences on physical processes, environmental impacts of transportation, and a commitment to formulating and analyzing policies which address problems such as sprawl and greenhouse gas emissions. Assistant Professor in Urban Ecology/Sustainability

Applications are invited for a joint tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level in the Department of Geography and the McGill School of Environment in Urban Ecology/Sustainability beginning on July 1, 2010. Urbanization is one of the primary processes responsible for global transformation of ecosystems and landscapes. Over half of the world's inhabitants now live in cities and the environmental footprint of urban areas extends well beyond the physical fraction of the Earth’s surface they occupy. Cities themselves are complex ecosystems: they have inorganic and organic components; they provide habitat for distinct assemblages of species; they consume and transform energy and resources; they generate waste; and they are intricately connected to natural systems. At the same time, urbanization removes inhabitants from the immediate experience of supporting ecological systems making the concept of sustainability more virtual than visceral. As cities expand, their populations increasingly dwell in locations vulnerable to changes in the global environment and urban-based producers and consumers account overwhelmingly for the world’s fossil fuel consumption and greenhouse gas emissions. A grand challenge of our times is to build knowledge of how urban places can be transformed to support human development in ways that sustain bio-physical environments, knowledge that is of critical importance given the current trajectory of global climate change.

The person who fills this position will conduct research that contributes to our understanding of how complex urban systems respond to, and in turn drive, environmental perturbations across scales from the local to global. The person would have expertise in ecology and sustainability, and in innovative approaches to achieving a sustainable interface between the urban setting and the non-urban environment.

This position will provide an important addition for undergraduate and graduate programs offered by the School of Environment (http://www.mcgill.ca/mse/) and the Department of Geography (http://www.geog.mcgill.ca/ ), and has the potential to contribute to programs in Sustainability Science and Urban Systems. There would also be potential interactions with other Departments with interests in the environment, such as Biology, Natural Resource Sciences, and the School of Urban Planning.

Such a position would be consistent with the inter-disciplinary Environment theme elaborated in the McGill ‘White Paper’: http://www.mcgill.ca/files/provost/Strengths_and_Aspirations_June_2006.pdf . It is also consistent with the greater attention to ‘sustainability’ that has been adopted by McGill.

Research Chair in Watershed Systems

The University of Manitoba invites applications and nominations for a Research Chair in Watershed Systems. The Chair will lead and coordinate research aimed at improving water quality in Manitoba and focus on the processes and management practices that will reduce non-point contamination of water within Lake Winnipeg’s watershed. The province of Manitoba has committed $1.25 million over five years, through the Manitoba Research and Innovation Fund, to support the proposed research chair. The successful candidate will serve as Chair for a five year period beginning January 1, 2010 or soon thereafter. In addition, a tenure-track or tenured appointment at an academic rank of Associate Professor or Professor, commensurate with qualifications and experience, will be granted. The departmental affiliation of the Chair holder will be determined by his/her particular academic/research expertise. Applicants with expertise in land-water interface dynamics related to the complex physical, chemical and biological processes affecting water quality are encouraged to apply.

The University has comprehensive expertise in the water area with active research programs encompassing aquatic and wetland ecosystems, land management and nutrient leaching, water infrastructure, climate, weather events, water quality, contaminant dispersal, water pollution control, waste water treatment, water policy and ice dynamics. The bulk of the University’s research efforts in this regard are currently concentrated in the faculties of environment, earth, and resources; agricultural and food sciences; engineering; and science. Each of these units have extensive leading-edge research infrastructure capable of supporting work in this area.

The Research Chair will play a leadership role in coordination and communication of multi-disciplinary water research within the University and with other research partners. In carrying out their activities, the chair will work collaboratively with key stakeholders and research agencies (government, NGOs, boards/councils, research consortia, etc.).

The qualifications of the Chair will include:

• Ph.D. in science, engineering or related disciplines with international recognition in the field of watershed systems, as evidenced by a strong publication record in high impact journals and the acquisition of national or international peer-reviewed grants and contracts;
• demonstrated teaching excellence, including supervision of highly qualified personnel;
• superior history of successfully coordinating researchers and building productive multi-disciplinary research teams from a variety of institutions and/or organizations; and
• demonstrated ability to communicate science to a range of stakeholders, including the general public, clearly and effectively.

Canada Research Chair in Environmental Education

Lakehead University invites applications from internationally recognized and respected scholars in the social sciences and humanities to be considered for two Tier 2 Canada Research Chair (CRC) positions within the following research areas: Canada Research Chair in Environmental Education

Candidates should be firmly grounded in educational theory, research and practice, yet also understand that environmental problems are complex socio-ecological phenomena and that environmental education thus must be interdisciplinary. Lakehead University is interested in candidates who conduct research that exists at the convergence of education and the environment and that demonstrably improves the capacity of humans to understand and live as part of flourishing natural and social environments. Research could focus on environmental educational initiatives in formal, non-formal or informal settings. Examples of research foci could include, but are not limited to: the use of natural environments to advance learning; historical, sociological or philosophical analyses of trends in environmental education; the impact on environmental education of intersectional analyses of the connections between social and environmental justice; or the measurement and evaluation of particular approaches to environmental education (e.g., place-based learning, experiential learning, environmental literacy). The Chair is expected to take a leadership role in establishing and facilitating interdisciplinary initiatives in environmental education at Lakehead University.

The successful candidates will hold a doctoral degree and have excellent research credentials and a demonstrated record of, or potential to attract external research funding. Tier 2 positions are intended for emerging scholars with the potential to retain or achieve international recognition in their fields in the next five to ten years. Successful candidates must be able to work effectively with undergraduate and graduate students. Candidates must have the necessary qualifications to be appointed as a tenured or tenure-track professor at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. CRCs will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with researchers throughout the university, as well as the wider community. Normally, the Tier 2 CRC competition is open to candidates who have at most 10 years' experience from the highest degree at the time of nomination.

The University of Northern British Columbia invites applications and nominations for a Tier 1 Canada Research Chair in the broad area of bioenergy. This Canada Research Chair will work with UNBC faculty, other post secondary institutions, agencies of all levels of government, industrial partners and Northern communities to develop an integrated, multi-disciplinary approach to bioenergy research at UNBC. UNBC, Canada’s Green University, has recently installed a 1.4M BTU pellet furnace for heating its Enhanced Forestry Laboratory, and is commencing construction on a 15M BTU fixed-bed gasifier that will heat its Prince George campus, and provide research opportunities on an operational system. A recently formed Northern Bioenergy Partnership brings together several dozen representatives from industry, community organizations and post-secondary institutions, to pursue the creation of a Bioenergy Centre of Excellence centered in Prince George.

Tier I Canada Research Chair (CRC) in Water Policy.

The University of Saskatchewan (U of S) invites applications for a Tier I Canada Research Chair (CRC) in the field of Water Policy. This opportunity is a joint initiative among three new interdisciplinary schools (School of Environment and Sustainability, Johnson-Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy, and School of Public Health) created at the U of S to foster growth in interdisciplinary and collaborative research and graduate training in areas of strategic importance to the institution.

The Chair will provide leadership to the Schools by developing a prominent research and graduate student training program that addresses some major element(s) of water policy with a focus on freshwater resources, including but not limited to: water policy development or assessment; links of water policy to environmental and human health considerations; policy regarding sustainable water use, including water allocation and trans-boundary issues; links among energy policy/initiatives, climate change and water policy, or agriculture and water policy; policy concerning water valuation and trade; and policy in relation to national and international water governance, incl. multi-level governance structures. The Chair will also play an important role within larger, interdisciplinary water initiatives under development at the U of S.

The ideal candidate will have a PhD or equivalent qualification, be a nationally/internationally recognized scholar with a strong record of attracting competitively awarded research funding, and have experience or interest in developing interdisciplinary research partnerships and approaches. Tenure Track Position at Assistant Professor or junior Associate Professor in Human Geography

Athabasca University, Canada’s Open University, invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level (a junior Associate Professor may be considered) within the Centre for Global and Social Analysis. The successful candidate will advance the research and learning objectives of the geography program and will be imaginative, innovative, highly motivated, self-directed, well organized, and possess outstanding communication and team-building skills. Athabasca University is currently developing four-year Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science degrees in Geography. We are searching for a dynamic scholar with a creative understanding of the full breadth of human geography. This colleague will be part of an interdisciplinary team and will work closely with the professor of physical geography to co-lead the development of the geography program. Familiarity with geomatics and the ability to communicate in French are considered assets. In addition to full participation in undergraduate program and curriculum development, responsibilities of this position include teaching and revising as necessary a broad range of current courses that include Introductory Human Geography, World Regional Geography, The Canadian North and Canadian Urban Development. As well, the successful candidate will design new courses to complement and expand the breadth of existing undergraduate human geography courses, undertake graduate teaching and supervision in the interdisciplinary Master of Arts - Integrated Studies program, carry out administration associated with course and program coordination, supervise course tutors, and participate in community service. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain research activities that complement and expand one or more of the initiatives at Athabasca University, such as Global Studies, Environmental Studies, the Athabasca River Basin Research Institute, and International Programs.

Candidates must hold a PhD in Geography with a concentration in some field of human geography. Essential criteria include a demonstrated commitment to undergraduate and graduate teaching in human geography; a proven research and publication record; and experience working collaboratively with colleagues and the community. The ideal candidate will show demonstrated abilities to work in a networked environment, and also be interested and experienced in distance education and open learning delivery methods, online teaching, and in developing and using innovative technology in teaching at a distance. Specific area of expertise may include environmental law, renewable and non-renewable resources, land use planning, international environmental policy, climate change, or conservation. The successful candidate will be a member of the Environmental Studies Program Unit and will contribute to the ongoing development of the Environmental Policy Institute and the proposed Master’s in Environmental Policy. The teaching load (graduate and undergraduate courses related to environmental policy) will be commensurate with program building responsibilities and contributions. Ph.D. or near completion required. Candidates must have demonstrated research success in environmental policy (or a closely related field) and teaching effectiveness.

A completed doctorate is required for the appointee to receive the rank of Assistant Professor and to be in a tenure-track position. If a successful candidate has not completed an earned doctorate, he or she shall be appointed to a regular term, non-renewable three-year appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor. If the candidate completes all the requirements for the doctorate during the first 24 months of his or her term appointment, he or she shall begin a tenure-track appointment following completion of the requirements of the degree.

The School for Resource and Environmental Studies provides a dynamic setting for creative interdisciplinary scholarship. The Department of Geography and Environmental Management at the University of Waterloo invites applications for a tenure track SHARCNET Research Chair in Geomatics at the assistant professor level. Preference will be given to applicants with expertise in active microwave remote sensing of sea ice dynamics and thermodynamics, and with teaching experience in Geomatics related courses. SHARCNET is a consortium of colleges and universities that share a network of high performance computers, linked by advanced fibre optics. The Department of Geography and Environmental Studies (DGES) requests applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level beginning July 1st, 2009. DGES is a research intensive unit and is seeking to augment its expertise in Geomatics. This position will be of interest to individuals who are able to provide Geomatics instruction at the undergraduate and graduate levels and complement existing research capacity in one or more of the following Geomatics subfields: spatio-temporal modeling, web-based mapping, cartographic visualization and remote sensing. Preference will be given to applicants who can also contribute to research applications in one of the two following strategic themes within DGES: Physical Geography as it relates to Northern Studies or Urban Environments. The ability to contribute to the advancement of teaching and research in quantitative and analytical methods and environmental modeling as well as foster stronger relationships in environmental and/or urban programs hosted by other units at Carleton University will be an asset.

The Environmental Studies Program at The University of Winnipeg invites applications for a Program Director, who will serve for an initial five-year term with the possibility of reappointment. The successful appointee will be expected to oversee the development of new undergraduate and graduate degree programs, foster and mentor faculty, teach, and manage day-to-day operations of the program. Nestled in the Selkirk Mountains in the southeast corner of British Columbia, the College serves over 2,500 full time and 8,700 part-time students each year with a wide variety of programs, such as University Arts and Sciences courses, adult basic education, trades, craft and design, nursing and other health programs, as well as many career programs in music, digital media, renewable resources, aviation, hospitality/tourism and others.

An instructor is required to teach in Geographic Information Systems program area. Applicants should have a minimum of a Master’s Degree GIS or a related field. Candidates must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and experience working successfully in teams. Preference will be given to applicants with previous teaching experience to a variety of GIS skill levels, and experience with Remote sensing applications.

This is a short term replacement position at a 72% appointment for the period of October 13, 2008 to May 15, 2009. Tenure-Track Assistant Professor in Planning

The Department of Geography & Planning at the University of Saskatchewan invites applications for a tenure track position in planning at the rank of Assistant Professor effective July 1, 2009.

The Department of Geography & Planning offers degrees at the bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral levels in human and physical geography and a Bachelor of Arts in Regional & Urban Planning (RUP), an interdisciplinary program that began in 1968 and is professionally accredited by the Canadian Institute of Planners (CIP) and the Association of Professional Community Planners of Saskatchewan. Three new faculty members have been added to a strong cadre of senior professors in the past few years to teach in the RUP and human geography programs, and the successful applicant will be expected to make important contributions here as well. While much of the RUP curriculum is offered within the Department of Geography & Planning, one of its strengths is that it includes fundamental courses in disciplines such as Economics, Political Studies, and Sociology. Students also have the opportunity to take courses from professional affiliates who work as senior planners and planning managers in the community. It is an important and exciting time to be teaching planning in Saskatchewan and the RUP program enjoys a good relationship with practitioners and alumni throughout the province and further afield.

Applicants must have, or be eligible and willing to apply for, full CIP membership, and must hold a doctorate in Planning or Geography. This position will be offered to a scholar who can build upon one of the two areas of research and teaching strength in planning and human geography, namely, ‘Sustainable Cities & Regions’ and ‘Environment & Health’. Preference will also be given to applicants with research or applied work experience in urban land-use planning, growth management, urban design, planning law, or ecological principles applied to urban planning and development. The term ‘urban’ here refers to cities or towns and can include a regional focus.

The University of New Brunswick is pleased to announce the establishment of The Gregg Centre Chair in Climate Change and Conflict for Emerging Scholars, a new research position affiliated with The Brigadier Milton F. Gregg, VC, Centre for the Study of War and Society. The Chair in Climate Change and Conflict is a centre-piece of The Gregg Centre's new interdisciplinary mandate, encompassing the study of war as a complex social phenomenon.

UNB is looking for a dynamic and innovative young scholar to hold this new research Chair. The Gregg Centre encourages applications from recently completed PhDs who have already demonstrated excellent potential as scholars in the emerging field of climate change and conflict, and from those in any of a wide variety of related fields -- such as, but not restricted to, international relations, geography, anthropology, and climatology -- who want to focus on climate change and conflict.

Applicants are asked to provide a three year research proposal including plans for dissemination of their findings. The successful candidate will pursue an active research and publishing agenda, teach two 3ch courses per year in his/her field, and supervise graduate students at the MA level. The Chair holder should feel comfortable dealing with the media and exploiting the unique access to soldiers who have served in the world's trouble spots provided by nearby CFB Gagetown. Research support will be provided by the Gregg Centre, with the expectation that the successful candidate will also apply to the appropriate research granting agencies.

The successful candidate will be appointed to the Gregg Centre Chair for a term of five years, and will simultaneously be granted a tenure-track cross-appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor to an academic department.

Canadian Research Chair TIER II in Watershed Modelling and Analysis

Nipissing University invites applications from outstanding candidates (emerging researchers) to be considered for a Tier II Canada Research Chair (NSERC) in the area of watershed hydrology and broadly defined to include the study of surface-water and groundwater hydrology. Candidates taking an interdisciplinary approach to watershed analysis are encouraged to apply. The physical and biological aspects of water resources in the forest watershed of central and northeastern Ontario would be an area of particular research interest. Ideally the candidate would have some expertise in the application of GIS and/or remote sensing on watershed hydrology to investigate the movement of sediment, water, nutrients or pollutants. The ability to provide an integrated approach to assessing water related management issues, through the linkages between the social and biophysical environment, is an asset.

The Biology and Geography Departments together are seeking a candidate with significant research promise and a demonstrated record of external funding. Applicants should demonstrate a commitment to multidisciplinary and collaborative research.

The Biology and Geography Departments are developing graduate programs and the successful candidate will play a significant role in the implementation of these programs. Both departments are expanding their research agenda and they have vibrant and dynamic teams of researchers.

Assistant Professor in Human Geography with specialty in Health

The Department of Environment and Geography invites applications for a full-time tenure-track appointment at Assistant Professor rank in Human Geography with specialty in Health. The appointment will begin on January 1, 2009 or as soon as possible thereafter. The successful candidate must have a strong background in human geography and is expected to have a Ph.D. by the time of appointment. An interest in environmental health issues and/or aboriginal health would be an asset. The successful candidate would be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in health geography and other topics in human geography based on his/her other areas of expertise.

Candidates must have a strong commitment to teaching and research in human geography. The successful candidate will have opportunities to collaborate with other well established scholars in various units, including Community Health Sciences, Human Ecology, the Natural Resources Institute, and several departments within the Faculty of Arts. The Department of Environment and Geography is housed within the new Clayton H. Limited-Term Appointment in Urban and Regional Planning

The Faculty of Environmental Studies (FES) at York University, Toronto, invites applications for a three-year contractually limited appointment (CLA) at the Assistant Professor level in the area of Urban and Regional Planning commencing July 1, 2008. The Faculty of Environmental Studies offers interdisciplinary courses in undergraduate and graduate degree programs and an accredited graduate program in planning. A PhD in Planning or Urban Studies with an emphasis in planning is expected to be completed by the start of employment.

The successful candidate must be able to contribute to both graduate and undergraduate programs. The candidate will demonstrate strong teaching interests in interdisciplinary and critical approaches to planning and urban problems and be able to teach upper level undergraduate courses as well as courses in the master¹s program in planning. The candidate will also demonstrate promise of a strong research and publication record or equivalent professional contributions. Experience in applied settings is an asset. OPPI membership preferred.

The candidate will teach the equivalent of three half-year (one semester long) courses and carry a full advising load in the graduate program in planning.
